Organizing the second edition of Emirates International Forensic Conference & Exhibition – Emirates Forensic, in the Emirate of Dubai, following a successful first edition last year, is indeed a continuous process to sustain forensics knowledge and practice, ensure continuous forensics learning and establish a solid research base that adds value to scientific work at Dubai Police and fosters collaborative research and innovation between Dubai Police and various law enforcement entities in the UAE and international police to attain Dubai Police of networking and securing, innovating and building (Smart. Secure. Together).
Certainly, a major shared goal of our work with our strategic partners in the world is indeed to establish justice in societies and spread happiness and positivity.
It is also an opportunity to meet up with experts and specialists in the legal medicine and forensic sciences fields, at the pearl of the world “Dubai”. Dubai is embracing everyone, hosting the largest exhibitions and congresses in the world. This comes as a result of the stimulating initiatives that are stemmed from 4th generation strategies and the 4th industrial revolution led by disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence which will eventually shape our societies in an unprecedented way.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and the unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, and their continuous instructions to envision and change positively towards the best, have always been our driving force to lead in all sectors.
Such conferences play a key role in the exchange of skills and enriching the knowledge in the field of forensics and criminology, and to stay abreast of the latest scientific developments in the field of forensics, as well as communicate with the leading international educational institutions, and to gain more scientific and medical knowledge, towards developing the technical capabilities and skills of our staff, making them scientifically and distinctively qualified.
This scientific assembly is perceived as major catalyst to sustainable development in the field of forensics and a resemblance and a metaphor of a university-like gathering where scientists, practitioners, experts & students exchange, share and most importantly ‘CREATE’ scientific knowledge!

On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to accord a warm welcome to all on the first edition of the Emirates International Forensic Science Conference and Exhibition (Emirates Forensic) which will be held from 09 – 11 April 2018.
Last year, INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Organisations Est. organized the 23rd edition of the Congress of the International Academy of Legal Medicine (IALM) which was held in January 2015 under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.
Following the massive success of IALM 2015, we decided to associate with Dubai Police once again to create a platform wherein all experts of the fields of Forensic Medicine, Anthropology, Odontology and Chemistry, Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Nursing, Trace Evidence, from the Middle East and the World can meet, exchange their practical experiences and share knowledge on the most pressing issues surrounding our region
We are delighted to have you all in the vibrant city of Dubai, where you can share your experiences and contribute to the development of the science of the Forensic Medicine. The Emirates Forensic Conference and Exhibition will have a significant role in enriching knowledge in the field of criminal evidence and criminology, and will facilitate the security and crime control personnel to stay abreast of the latest international developments in the field of forensic medicine.
The government of the UAE has always been keen to support this subject which was established during the eighties of the last century. Therefore, a number of high ranked officials and decision makers of international associations are expected to be present during the three days of the event. Moreover and with the support of the scientific committee a new dimension of scientific research and academic and training initiatives will be introduced during the EIFSEC 2016 Conference and Exhibition, which in turn are aimed at enriching the regions’ approach towards Forensic science and its disciplines
